Moonbeam City (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.): Haven’t you heard? Comedy Central has a new show starring Rob Lowe, Elizabeth Banks, Kate Mara, and Will Forte. What is this magical show? Well, it’s the magical (animated) world of Moonbeam City, an animated comedy taking on the ’80s and all things Miami and/or Vice.
You can insert your own Archer comparison here, because such comparisons aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Rob Lowe is the voice of hotshot Moonbeam City detective Dazzle Novak, and if you think that’s one hell of a name, you ain’t seen nothing yet: There’s Pizzaz Miller (Banks), Chrysalis Tate (Kate Mara), and Rad Cunningham (Forte). Bob Sassone’s pre-air review of the first three episodes calls the show “more clever than funny,” but that might not necessarily be a positive, especially since he also calls the show “an acquired taste.” Jesse Hassenger’s reviews will see if that’s the case on a week-to-week basis, but for what it’s worth, your friendly, neighborhood What’s On Tonight contributor likes the show.

Young & Hungry (ABC Family, 8 p.m.): “Young & Earthquake” doesn’t even make sense, Young & Hungry! Neither does this episode description: “A visit to a psychic causes nothing but problems on an all-new episode.” It’s times like these you learn to miss Melissa & Joey.
Big Brother (CBS, 8 p.m.): “Another houseguest is evicted from the compound. The final three are revealed.” That sounds interesting.
America’s Next Top Model (The CW, 8 p.m.): “The Guy Who Acts A Fool,” America’s Next Top Model? How are we just now learning that Ludacris is a Top Model contestant?!?
Nintendo World Championships 2015 (Disney XD, 8 p.m.): You say “Nintendo World Championships,” we say:
MasterChef (Fox, 8 p.m): In the two hour, sixth season finale of MasterChef, the top three compete, and… Well, you know the rest. There’s one winner. The rest are losers. MasterChef is just like real life in that way.
Kevin From Work (ABC Family, 8:30 p.m.): This week, Kevin discovers a secret bathroom in Julia’s office, and apparently, that’s what counts for excitement in such a boring office setting. Kevin From Work is coming for The Office’s territory, y’all.
America’s Got Talent (NBC, 9 p.m.): Every competition needs a two hour season finale! Every competition! (Remember that when you come back, The Challenge.) America’s Got Talent falls under the umbrella of “every competition,” even though it’s really not necessary for it to be two hours. After all, the episode is titled “Finale Results,” so Nick Cannon could honestly just start the night with a results reveal and make America wonder “what now?” (At 8 p.m., there’s a recap of this season’s final performances. Dating Naked: Playing For Keeps (VH1, 9 p.m.): Naked dates are coming to an end tonight. But fear not: There will be more naked dates. How many keeps will these naked daters be playing for during this finale? Watch and find out. Make sure to record any and all keeps. Even if it’s these keeps.
Hollywood Divas (TV One, 9 p.m.): La segunda parte de Hollywood Divas “reunion special” es esta noche . ¿Por qué es esto en español ? ¿Por que no?
Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles (Bravo, 10 p.m.): “Still sore from their fallout, David keeps James out of a deal with a mystery client who could turn their fortunes around, but only if the Brits can get their partnership back on track.” There was a fallout? Is this now Million Dollar Listing: UK? We assume that actually watching Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles can answer these questions, so if you have the burning desire to find out, let us know.
Suddenly Royal (TLC, 10 p.m.): “Rub-A-Dub-Dub, One King In A Tub.” Nope. Strike two, Suddenly Royal.
The Jim Gaffigan Show (TV Land, 10 p.m.): This week on The Jim Gaffigan Show, Jeannie’s sister comes into town and goes on a date with Dave. So, this week on The Jim Gaffigan Show, we learn that Jeannie’s sister is apparently a terrible decision-maker. Erik Adams gave last week’s episode an A; so at least we know he’s a better decision-maker than Jeannie’s sister.
Born Again Virgin (TV One, 10 p.m.): Two episodes of Born Again Virgin? Have fun with that!
Impastor (TV Land, 10:30 p.m.): The first season finale of Impastor is titled “Exodus.” We all saw this coming, right?
Candidly Nicole (VH1, 11 p.m.): Did you know that Candidly Nicole is one of the strangest shows on television? Of course you didn’t—we often forget that it even exists. But with the description of tonight’s second season finale, “Nicole Richie: Behind The Music,” we’ve got our DVRs set to record. And yes, if you find it strange that Nicole—not Lionel—Richie is the one having a Behind The Music special, you are in good company. But we haven’t even gotten to the episode description, which is the best part: “VH1 does a Behind The Music on Nicole, revealing her nervous breakdown; the fate of Nicole’s show is unknown.” What. Is. Happening?
