There was a time, a time before the Internet went all crazy, when the local anchorman reigned supreme and the movie Anchorman was able to surprise you with its celebrity cameos, because they hadn’t already been spoiled by paparazzi set photos and casting reports. But times are changing. Ladies can do stuff now, and every time a famous person steps out into the sunshine someone’s there with a camera, and you’re going to have to learn how to deal with it.

All of this is to say that there’s plenty of info about who’s going to be in Anchorman 2—some of which we already know through official casting announcements, like the additions of Harrison Ford, Kristen Wiig, and James Marsden, some of which we only know because nothing is allowed to be a secret anymore. Reilly, Jane Lynch, and a returning Vince Vaughn. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have already been photographed attacking Sacha Baron Cohen with a crowbar. And now comes word that Kanye West was spotted filming a cameo, reportedly a rooftop scene that played havoc with his apparent fear of heights and “required an umbrella for shade most of the time,” which sounds about right. Thanks to TMZ, we also already know that the scene finds Steve Carell’s Brick Tamland once again wielding a trident and quite possibly killing another guy.
