Because MTV award shows are always shit shows of weird, teen celebrities and unfortunately bared body parts, we here at The A.V. Club practically feel obligated to watch and marvel. While this Sunday night at 10 p.m. Eastern we’ll be turning in to Mad Men—because, duh!—we’ll be spending the half hour between 8:30 and 9 p.m. watching the MTV Movie Awards red carpet special. It’s sure to be a cavalcade of weirdness and Drew Barrymore, and thus, we’ll be having a live chat for that half hour with some of our music and TV writers, as well as you fine readers.
