Westworld returns for your Sunday night antihumanist wish fulfillment
Westworld (HBO, 9 p.m.): Westworld season one ended in pretty spectacular fashion, with a robot revolution resulting in the death of their own creator. Now the shattered landscape of Westworld returns for its sophomore season, which Alex McLevy is pretty positive about, giving it a B+. He says that even though Westworld season two is “darker and more violent,” it “unearths better mysteries” as “the darker machinations of the Delos corporation start to come to light, and it’s just as nefarious as you might expect.” Zack Handlen can’t wait to visit Westworld’s second season, and we’re just excited to see our favorite synthetic humans like Thandie Newton and Evan Rachel Wood again.
