WGN will air the Cubs victory parade nationwide, just to rub it in

In case you managed to miss the spectacle of an entire Midwestern city briefly levitating for a minute last night, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series yesterday, for the first time since 1908. Now, in an effort to share the thrill of that victory with Illinois expats around the country—and definitely not to rub the team’s victory in the face of an entire nation of nay-sayers—Chicago-based cable network WGN America has announced that it’ll be airing the city’s celebratory parade live, nationwide.

The parade will begin tomorrow, November 4, at 11 a.m. CT. WGN has promised to air the event free of commercials, presumably to assure that nobody misses a single second of the Second City’s glee.
