The Casual Vacancy wrapped up last night, leaving DVR Club feeling a bit unsatisfied. But just as they’ve been taught by the literary works of J.K. Rowling, TV editor Erik Adams and copy editor Caitlin PenzeyMoog are persevering—specifically, they’re persevering by re-imagining The Casual Vacancy as one of Rowling’s works of fantasy. Have you noticed that “Barry” rhymes with “Harry”? Did you notice that Howard Mollison is played by Michael Gambon, the big screen’s second Albus Dumbledore? Erik and Caity did, and it’s the most fun they managed to have with The Casual Vacancy.
