What is it like to drop in as a journeyman TV director?

As a director, Rick Rosenthal has worked on a wide range of projects, from hit TV shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Veronica Mars to indie and studio features like Bad Boy and Halloween II. His skill lies in is his ability to adapt to multiple environments, crews, and genres—a journeyman of TV and film. At the Sundance premiere of his latest project, Halfway There, we asked Rosenthal about his experience working on all those projects.
