1. Say hello to House Of The Dragon season 2

HBO, Sunday, 9 p.m.: Get your Team Black and Team Green banners ready to go because House Of The Dragon is back, baby. In season two, HBO’s Game Of Thrones prequel picks up in the aftermath of the dragon Vhagar’s rampage, with Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) and Daemon (Matt Smith) Targaryen driven by rage and vengeance. Meanwhile, Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) and her clan fight to protect their rule over Westeros. If you want a full season-one recap, we’ve got you covered. 2. Dev Patel. Monkey Man. Streaming. That’s all the convincing you need, right?

Peacock, Friday, 3:01 a.m.: It’s finally time to enjoy Dev Patel’s directorial debut Monkey Man from the comfort of your home. The movie, which released theatrically in April, follows Patel’s Kid as he seeks justice for his mother’s murder. Set in India, Monkey Man also stars Sharlto Copley, Pitobash, Sikander Kher, Shobhita Dhulipala, and Ashwini Kalsekar. Here’s a bit from The A.V. Club’s review:

3. Shudder drops Korean horror film Exhuma

Shudder, Friday, 3:01 a.m.: Directed by Jang Jae-hyun, Exhuma is already making waves as South Korea’s sixth highest-grossing film of all time. The supernatural horror movie centers on people excavating an ominous grave, which unleashes a long-buried secret that taps into Korean folklore and the history of Japanese occupation in the country.


4. Animated superhero film Ultraman: Rising digs into parenthood

Netflix, Friday, 3:01 a.m.: In the Japanese American animated film, Ken Sato is an egotistical baseball player who’s also a secret superhero, Ultraman (Christopher Sean/Yuki Yamada). Already struggling to balance both lives, he adds parenthood to his list of troubles when he’s forced to adopt a baby kaiju after defeating its mother.


5. Camp Snoopy expands Apple’s lineup

Apple TV+, Friday, 12:01 a.m.: This streaming platform loves dropping new Peanuts content every few weeks. The latest is Camp Snoopy, in which the titular dog and the Beagle Scouts explore the great outdoors, run into Charlie Brown, and embark on some fun adventures.
