If it absolutely had to develop a TV show based on Twitter, why couldn't CBS have opted instead for this series of interviews conducted with director Werner Herzog wherein he answers questions drawn entirely from the social network? While it sounds like its own recipe for inanity, it’s inanity addressed by Werner Herzog, and is thus inherently more amusing than any shit even William Shatner may or may not say. Here’s one of our favorites, in which Herzog explains why he doesn’t have the crucial irony-sensing organ that allows French people to laugh their days away in coffeehouses.
