Where'd You Go, Bernadette's Emma Nelson on studying under Cate Blanchett

You’d never know Where’d You Go, Bernadette is Emma Nelson’s first film role. As Bee, the Chicago-born actress is smart, talented, and passionate about all things. In real life, Nelson isn’t all that different, beating out hundreds of other hopefuls for the role of Bee. She talked to The A.V. Club about hitting the ground running with this movie, as well as what she learned working under and around Cate Blanchett and Richard Linklater.
