Fans hoping that Marvel might offer some resolution or comfort at this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con will have to remember that the studio isn’t planning to tease any of what remains in phase three, which will wrap with the final, and still-untitled, Avengers movie—or even anything that comes after it. Feige didn’t elaborate on the substance of those meetings, which almost certainly had to do with phase four, the next stage in the MCU, of which we still know very little beyond that it includes sequels to Spider-Man: Homecoming and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. But he did remind the AP that there’s “an amazing wealth of creative material to pull from,” noting that “lot of our characters in their comic incarnations that we haven’t even done yet for characters who have had three or four movies,” which could mean we haven’t seen the last of [REDACTED], or that we did see the last of [REDACTED].
