From the Department of Sequels You Never Asked For: The Wayans Brothers and Sony has announced that they’re moving forward on a sequel to the late-summer 2004 semi-hit White Chicks. If you’ll recall, Marlon and Shawn Wayans appeared in the original as FBI agents who go undercover as heiresses in whiteface—is it worth asking “why”?—and they’re going to find some comically outrageous reason to do it again. White Chicks raked in nearly $70 million, enough to recoup its $1.25 budget, and both Wayans stars, along with their director brother Keenan Ivory Wayans, have agreed to come back for the sequel. Hooray?
