Who asked for this?: Second Ghost Rider movie in the works

Looks like Ghost Rider, that curious Marvel character born of the intersection between early-'70s motorcycle enthusiasm and a new interest in horror comics, will return to the big screen, according to Variety. The first Ghost Rider movie, released in 2007, starred Nicolas Cage and was written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson. Johnson was also responsible for a botched adaptation of Daredevil, and he didn't fare much better with the biker with the flaming skull. So maybe that's why David Goyer, who's had his hand in superhero adaptations of everything from Batman to Blade will fare better. He's said to be in talks.

On the other hand, the sequel might still star Nicolas Cage.
