Last week we posted a 30-second clip of "The View," a new song from the upcoming Lou Reed/Metallica album, Lulu. Now the full song has surfaced online, and it's a lumbering, non-melodic behemoth that finds Reed and Metallica's James Hetfield trading off vocals over a wall of sludgy guitars. "The View" actually has a sort-of momentum to it; at the start you're not sure you'll be able to make it the full five minutes and 18 seconds, but it's actually kinda okay by the end. Of course, a full album of this might be a little much, but we guess we'll see for sure when Lulu comes out Nov. 1. Check out "The View" below. [Via Spin]
