Wikipedia has all the facts you need about the American Pie series
The Internet abhors the absence of information, and nowhere is that more apparent than on Wikipedia, the crowd-sourced repository of facts about, well, everything. But some topics get covered a little more exhaustively than others. Take American Pie, the series of teen comedies kicked off in 1999. It enjoyed two theatrical sequels (American Pie 2 and American Wedding) followed by four direct-to-DVD follow-ups that were then followed by another theatrical film (this year’s American Reunion). The possibility of yet another American Pie movie looms on the horizon, but until then, the authors of the many Wikipedia entries on the series can pat themselves on the back for the comprehensive work they’ve done in covering every detail of every film. There are, of course, entries on each film with detailed plot descriptions. That’s expected. Less expected is a chart on the entry for “American Pie (series),” which shows who appeared in each movie. Can’t remember if Chris Klein was in American Wedding? Look no further. (Eugene Levy, naturally, is at the top of the chart as the only actor to appear in every entry of both the main series and its spin-offs.)
