You may have noticed some new Volkswagen ads featuring songs from Wilco's recently released Sky Blue Sky album. The band explains them on its website this week: "With the commercial radio airplay route getting more difficult for many bands (including Wilco); we see this as another way to get the music out there. As with most of the above (with the debatable exception of radio) the band gets paid for this. And we feel okay about VWs. Several of us even drive them." Well, it couldn't be much worse than Elvis Costello's Lexus ads. (Via Hollywood Reporter)
Also, the site mentions that Jeff Tweedy will provide the voice of God in Comedy Central's new Lil' Bush, airing next month.
