Will and Jada Pinkett Smith sell a TV show to ABC, are totally not getting a divorce
The lineup of big-screen filmmakers that’s currently queuing outside of television studios is now shivering and cold, engulfed in the shadows of one gigantic trailer as Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have just pulled up to sell a half-hour comedy to ABC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pair will produce a show starring singer Anthony “Romeo” Santos as a “charismatic Dominican-American” whose efforts to forge his own “new vision of the American Dream” is complicated by the values of his “very traditional immigrant father.” That father is probably always like, “Hey, why don’t you be a good boy and attend the Roman Catholic church and then ostracize some Haitians? Now put on some merengue and eat some mangú!” And then Romeo is like, “This is America, Dad!” Anyway, as of now the show is being referred to as the Untitled Romeo Project, because they can’t come right out and call it Will And Jada Pinkett Smith’s Marriage Is Totally Fine.
