According to U.S. Soccer Federation President Sunil Gulati and resident crowd-riling expert Teddy Goalsevelt, that secret weapon is Will “The Anchorman” Ferrell. The actor surprised a pumped-up crowd at the U.S. fan headquarters in Recife, Brazil, decked out in a snug-fitting official uniform. And although he admonished that he’s a little out of shape, he promised to “live up to the spirit of this American team.” He’s also not afraid to get rough. “I will bite. I will bite every German player if I have to,” Ferrell said to uproarious applause. He encouraged those watching the matches to look for him in the crowd, sitting next to a Teddy Roosevelt impersonator while wearing a red, white, and blue bikini top.
