Taking a break from launching his own brand of marijuana, Willie Nelson sat down with his friend Merle Haggard to sing about the plight of the world and the virtues of the herb. The octogenarian weed enthusiast shares a joint (or two) with Haggard while they croon the incredibly catchy tune that just might set more than a few toes a-tappin’. The song—called “It’s All Going to Pot,” naturally—is from the upcoming collaborative album from the country superstars entitled Django and Jimmie, which is due out June 2.
The album’s title is a tribute to Django Reinhardt and Jimmie Rodgers and not, as previously hoped, some weed-infused fan-fiction about the hero of Django Unchained getting into adventures with a time-traveling Jimmie “J.J.” Walker.
