Win a pair of tickets to see John Oliver at The Chicago Theatre on New Year’s Eve

Two months ago, we gave away a pair of tickets to see John Oliver at The Chicago Theatre and, not surprisingly, the response was overwhelming. His HBO show, Last Week Tonight, has become massively influential, bringing about positive change time and time again, and effectively making Oliver one of the most beloved faces on the late-night circuit. To satiate the public’s need for more John Oliver, The Chicago Theatre has wisely announced another show, this one starting at 10p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Sounds like one hell of a way to kick off 2016.

Thanks to the folks at The Chicago Theatre, The A.V. Club is thrilled to be giving away two tickets to see John Oliver on Thursday, December 31, at 10p.m. For your chance to win, simply send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “NYE John Oliver.” Be sure to include your full name in the body of the email. On Friday, October 9, we’ll select one random winner from our eligible entries and notify them via email that day. Two tickets will be held at will call under the winner’s name and will be available for pick up on the day of the show. You don’t have to be Chicago-based to win, but we’re only giving away tickets, so you’re on your own with travel and lodging.
