Win the ‘70s-heavy soundtrack for The Diary Of A Teenage Girl on vinyl
One of the delights of the summer film season was Marielle Heller’s The Diary Of A Teenage Girl, an adaptation of Phoebe Gloeckner’s graphic novel of the same name. Starring newcomer Bel Powley, Kristen Wiig, and Alexander Skårsgard, the film follows young Minnie as she navigates the path to adulthood, which becomes infinitely more complex when she begins an affair with her mother’s boyfriend. The “refreshingly nonjudgmental coming-of-age story” lifts its retro setting directly from its source novel, showing off the flowery prints and auburn hues of 1970s San Francisco. Fittingly, the film has a killer soundtrack to match, featuring choice cuts from The Stooges, Heart, Television and more. Rhino Records released the soundtrack on August 7 digitally and on vinyl and now we’ve got an opportunity for you to win a copy for yourself.
