The British band Elbow has never cracked America the way some of its contemporaries—like Coldplay and Snow Patrol—have, but maybe that’s a reflection of the band’s subtlety. Elbow’s gorgeous sixth album, recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World studio, will be out in America tomorrow: It’s called The Take Off And Landing Of Everything, and it will be followed by a U.S. tour.
