Okay, we give up. If the camp of J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Trek prequel doesn't stop dropping bombs on us, there's no way we're gonna be able to let this movie leave Newswire rotation. (That is, of course, until opening day). The latest: Two weeks after the principle cast was announced, Abrams disclosed that Winona Ryder has signed on to the project–to play the human mother of Spock, himself being played by Heroes' Zachary Quinto. This comes on the heels of our previously reported gossip about Ryder's recent hookup with indie guy Blake Sennett of Rilo Kiley and The Elected. Not that we obsess over this shit or anything.
