With “Paranoid Much,” Aqueduct plays on that universal feeling of anxiety

For an artist described as “Seattle’s king of mouth trumpet,” Aqueduct (real name David Terry) seems like a fairly normal dude. At least, that’s the vibe on his upcoming album, Wild Knights. Out July 14, Wild Knights is Pacific Northwest-style bedroom pop written by Aqueduct in an attempt to memorialize his past few years. Below, A.V. Club readers can exclusively check out “Paranoid Much,” a track that Terry says is about “that nagging manipulative voice in your head trying to convince you the universe is somehow against you, that everything’s a conspiracy.”
