In a rare piece of comics-related news to break during Comic-Con, Scholastic Books today announced that Jeff Smith will be illustrating a new trilogy of graphic novels featuring the characters he created in the popular fantasy epic Bone. The Bone: Quest For The Spark series will debut this fall from Scholastic—which has sold over four million copies of their color Bone collections over the past four years—with art by Smith and scripts by Fallen author Tom Sniegoski. According to Smith, “I always said I would find a way to draw more Bone stories, and now I have. Tom is great to work with and we’re going to have a lot of fun!” As Bone fans, we're keeping out fingers crossed.
