Woody meets an army of terrifying ventriloquist dummies in the first full Toy Story 4 trailer

The first teaser for Toy Story 4 introduced Tony Hale as a spork that has been brought to life through toy magic (we assume), and it was extremely good. Then, after the Super Bowl, Pixar dropped a Toy Story 4 teaser that was… less good. It had Buzz getting trapped at a fair alongside Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, and while it was okay, it didn’t explode the Toy Story mythology like Tony Hale’s spork.

Now, however, Pixar has released the sequel’s first full trailer and it’s jam-packed with surprises, from the return of Toy Story 2's long-lost Bo Peep to Christina Hendricks’ Gabby Gabby, an ultra-freaky pull-string doll leading an army of Goosebumps-esque ventriloquist dummies. Keanu Reeves is also here, playing not the John Wick action figure we’d hoped, but rather a motorcycle-riding stuntman named Caboom.

Also at the center of the story is new owner Bonnie, whose aforementioned spork runs away, leading Woody and the gang to a dusty old antique store and a vibrant fair. The worlds on display here are bigger, more colorful, and more enticing than anything the toys have seen before, and the question of whether or not they want to return to Bonnie’s room is one with which they’ll have to grapple.

Toy Story 4 will be in theaters on June 21.
