Work It canceled in favor of more Tim Allen

ABC has pulled cross-dressing comedy Work It after just two episodes and will replace the series with Last Man Standing repeats for the short-term future. The first episode of the show pulled in 6.14 million viewers and a 2.0 in the key demo, but the show slumped to 5.1 million viewers and a 1.6 in the demo in episode two. Combined with some of the worst reviews for a TV show in recent memory, it was enough to get the show yanked from the lineup. Most TV journalists expect ABC to replace the canceled series with the beleaguered, long-missing Cougar Town, though the network will presumably want a few weeks to promote the return of the cult comedy. If you want more context for ABC's decision or to hear about why the network put the show on the air in the first place, check out Dan Fienberg's excellent report at Hitfix. We, however, will offer a polite "Hurrah!" and cancel our plans to revive the Inventory video series, only featuring all of us in drag.
