Works of Franz Kafka to metamorphose into indie video game
Following in the footsteps of The Great Gatsby and The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer, the work of Franz Kafka is the next slice of classic literature to get a video game adaptation. Denis Galnin, whose previous projects include a game based on Hamlet, has put out a trailer for his upcoming The Franz Kafka Videogame, which he describes as “a classic adventure game based on twisted Franz Kafka’s novels.” The minute-long video promises a game full of absurdity, surrealism, and puzzles. It also features a bug-man dressed in business attire and plenty of melancholy, so if this teaser is anything to go by, the project is looking pretty faithful to Kafka’s work. It’ll be out next year for iOS devices, PC, Mac, Android, and Linux.
