Wreck-It Ralph 2’s new title promises to cause issues on the internet
At CinemaCon, Disney distribution head Dave Hollis announced the title for the internet-themed sequel to Wreck-It Ralph, and let’s just say it’s taking a page out of the Kardashian playbook. The follow-up to the film about an arcade game character will be called Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. Surely, in Ralph’s case he’ll actually break the internet rather than just cause people on Twitter to freak out.
“To take these characters we love and have them enter the enormous world of the internet has given us so much to explore,” director Rich Moore said in a statement. “Our production team has been hard at work designing a world that takes something we all think we know—the internet—but shows it in a whole new, imaginative way.” According to a release, Hollis also announced that Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch will be back to provide voices for Fix-It Felix and Sergeant Calhoun, respectively. The movie is due out March 9, 2018.
