WTF With Marc Maron gets its very own collectors' box set
If you are among the many who have been told that you really should be listening to Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, yet your instinct is to scream, “Don’t tell me what to do!” and punch those people in the face, here is your chance to make up for everything but the face-punching. On April 24, Maron will release the limited-edition WTF With Marc Maron box set, comprised of two discs packed with the first 100 episodes of Maron’s interviews with guests like Patton Oswalt, Sarah Silverman, Zach Galifianakis, Robin Williams, Ben Stiller, Dane Cook, and even the two-parter with Carlos Mencia where Mencia kinda sorta admitted to stealing other comedians’ jokes. (Presumably all of disc two is taken up by Mencia’s rationalizations.)
“But all of those interviews were available for free on the Internet, so why would I spend $49.99 on a hunk of obsolete physical media?” some of you may be asking while punching someone else in the face. Which, fair enough, but this also comes with a video recording of a live WTF session taped at Brooklyn’s Bell House featuring Artie Lange, Morgan Spurlock, Ira Glass, Nick DiPaolo, Joe Mande, and more, plus this is a “collector’s set,” so it’s for collecting. You can put a pre-order for one of the only 1,000 copies beginning tomorrow at the ASpecialThing Records website.
