Wyatt Cenac takes on public education and goat yoga in season two of Problem Areas
Wyatt Cenac is back and he wants to know how we begin to repair our ruefully flawed public education system – that is, between exploring facial recognition software and teaching children how to file taxes.
The second season of Cenac’s critically acclaimed late night docuseries Problem Areas premiers in April on HBO, and this season the Emmy-winning comedian is focusing on the current state of education. In the newly released trailer, Cenac tackles pressing matters like classroom size and equitable learning. He can also be seen shadowing a goat yoga class, because why not?
Per HBO, the season will also address a range of issues outside of education, from mental health to the unionization of fast food workers. Comedic segments and Cenac’s own commentary will serves as buffers between the more serious field reporting, maintaining the same well-rounded nature that was such a draw for critics and audiences alike.
The second season of Problem Areas premieres Friday, April 5 at 11:00 p.m. EST on HBO.
