X-Men First Class cast coming together
With shooting set to begin in a few weeks, casting details on the forthcoming Matthew Vaughn-helmed X-Men prequel are finally starting to emerge, hopefully giving mutant fans a chance to move on from the combined suckfest of X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. According to Variety, a pair of young up-and-comers by the name of Caleb Landry Jones (No Country For Old Men, Friday Night Lights TV series) and Nicholas Hoult (A Single Man, Clash of the Titans) will play Banshee and Beast, respectively, joining James McAvoy as Professor Xavier and Michael Fassbender as Magneto Additionally, Aint It Cool News is reporting on rumors that Aaron Johnson will reunite with Kick-Ass director Vaughn to play Cyclops. A restraining order on Brett Ratner would round things out nicely.
