xXx 3 will take us back to the Xander Zone in 2017
After riding an exploding speedboat through a ring of fire, over a pit of nuclear-powered sharks, and then through the wall of a European strip club, The Wrap has arrived with the release date for xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage. According to its report, the highly anticipated second sequel to a movie that some people probably liked almost 15 years ago will hit theaters (like an exploding speedboat) on January 20, 2017. That’ll put it about a month after the release of Rogue One and a week after the release of the first Dark Tower movie—or at least the date that Sony has penciled in for the Dark Tower movie, which will still probably never happen—so Paramount seems to be hoping that audiences by then will be hungry for a film where Vin Diesel pulls off sick stunts and says stupid things like “You’ve just entered the Xander Zone.”
In addition to Diesel, The Return Of Xander Cage will also star Samuel L. Jackson, Toni Collette, Donnie Yen, and Tony Jaa.
