Yep, 30 Rock did an entire episode about Tracy Morgan's homophobic rant
Making good on Tina Fey’s promise to use some of that gay-panic grist for the ol’ comedy mill, The Huffington Post reports that 30 Rock definitely will make light of last summer’s controversy involving Tracy Morgan’s ill-advised “homosexuals are gross and should also be stabbed” stand-up routine. The confirmation comes from openly gay MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts, who says he filmed a cameo for an episode where Morgan’s thinly veiled alter ego Tracy Jordan makes his own homophobic comments, resulting in a public relations crisis that mirrors Morgan’s own. “Liz Lemon writes Tracy's apology on the show and says he's not a homophobe, he's an idiot,” Roberts says. “That offends idiots, so while NBC is being picketed by the LBGT community, now it's also being picketed by idiots led by Denise Richards. She's the leader of the idiots.” And so 30 Rock hopes to be a uniter by offering something we can all agree on.
