Yep, there are still three more Hunger Games films to come

Though it's long been rumored—not to mention just plain assumed of a studio who padded out the Twilight finale across two films and still holds out hope for more—Lionsgate today confirmed that The Hunger Games will split its third and final story into two separate movies, ensuring that all Novembers of the immediate future will feature Jennifer Lawrence plugging things with arrows. The next installment, Catching Fire, bows on November 22, 2013—perfectly timed for your very weird "50th Anniversary Of The JFK Assassination And Also Hunger Games" celebrations—with Mockingjay, Part 1 arriving on Nov. 21, 2014, and Part 2 finally wrapping up the series on Nov. 20, 2015. Fortunately, the news means at least three more years of casting announcements for characters named things like Aristotle Plumperduck (or whatever), guaranteeing that the Internet will continue to thrive at least until then. I'm buying a boat!
