Yep, they're already working on a 21 Jump Street sequel
With apologies to those who spent untold minutes planning Channing Tatum’s next movie, it appears as though at least one of those decisions has already been made for him, besides playing a guy who squints at danger and wears his heart on his stomach. Jonah Hill has confirmed to E! that he is already writing the sequel to 21 Jump Street, which Sony commissioned weeks ahead of the film’s March 16 debut based on its early positive buzz and the fact that films are only worth making these days if they can become “franchises,” so that’s what this is now. Hill obviously didn’t reveal anything about his plans for the next chapter, although we suppose you can now safely assume that neither he nor Tatum die in a hail of gunfire in the first one. So thanks for singlehandedly dousing any dramatic tension, Jonah Hill.
