Yes, a Bay Area radio station has had Nelly’s “Hot In Herre” on loop for the last 48 hours
Latino Mix 105.7, a heretofore innocuous radio station serving San Francisco’s Spanish-language musical needs, has had Nelly’s “Hot In Herre” on loop since the afternoon of March 14, at least. It has not made much of an effort to explain why, although Radio Insight reports that it is a publicity stunt marking the station’s rebranding as a “Hot” station instead of a “Latino” station. Hence, “Hot In Herre”—on loop, maybe forever.
If you listen long enough (as you should), interspersed between Spanish-language commercials for goods and services in the Oakland area is trance-like, tantric mind-state that occurs when endings and beginnings blur, when it is always hot in herre, so take off all your clothes.
Give a little bit of ah, ah. With a little bit of ah, ah.
Listen live here. Forever. And follow the increasing confusion and horror of the radio-listening public at #Nelly1057 on Twitter.
