When Jimmy Fallon takes over The Tonight Show in 2014, he’s definitely taking The Roots with him. Questlove, the band’s drummer, told Fuse that the band would indeed be moving on up to The Tonight Show, implying that Fallon’s crew is envisioning its version of Jay Leno’s current domain as just a slightly tweaked version of the existing show. As Questo put it, “The Tonight Show is coming to us; we’re not going to The Tonight Show."
Fallon and The Roots will be making the move sometime in the fall of 2014.
