Yo La Tengo’s Ira Kaplan collaborated with the American Values Club on a crossword puzzle 

Back in the days when alternative print journalism thrived, The A.V. Club had a wonderful crossword puzzle. Alas, that is no longer the case, but the team responsible for those—the American Values Club—continues to create crossword puzzles because they are fantastic at it. Recently, they started issuing puzzles created with some famous help. The first celebrity crossword collaboration is available now, and features the incredibly articulate Ira Kaplan of Yo La Tengo. And if that’s not enough incentive for crossword fans, the next celebrity collaborator is rumored to be the equally delightful and intelligent Patton Oswalt.
