You can now watch Leonardo DiCaprio’s entire climate change documentary online
Scientists have been widely acknowledging climate change as a real and pressing danger to our planet for a while now, but it seems pretty clear that none of us are actually going to do anything about it as long as we’ve got all-day breakfast at McDonald’s and another decade of Marvel movies to look forward to. Thankfully, we’ve got celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio to watch out for us. Not only is he producing a Captain Planet movie, but he and Fisher Stevens also made a climate change documentary called Before The Flood that was screened at President Obama’s South By South Lawn festival earlier this year.
For people who aren’t cool enough to hang out at the White House, though, DiCaprio and National Geographic have uploaded the entire film to YouTube. This gives everyone a chance to learn about how totally screwed we are, but with the added benefit of not having to pay for it or sit through commercials. Really, just imagine how far we’d get if actually solving this problem were as easy as watching a YouTube video.
