You’re The Worst (FXX, 10 p.m.): You’re The Worst has traditionally explored the ins and outs of the relationship of Gretchen and Jimmy and how these two dysfunctional people somehow bring out the best in each other. Except for this season, when Jimmy and Gretchen are still definitely on the outs. This makes Lindsay and Edgar our new main couple, which is great, because we love them, and they’ve both been on the sidelines for too long. Vikram Murthi tries to keep track of everyone’s varying relationship statuses.

The Magic School Bus Rides Again (Netflix): This new version of the old classic offers much more of the same—same classroom kids, same closing phone calls, and we were glad to see Lily Tomlin show up again as Miss Frizzle—with a snappier bus and Kate McKinnon as Miss Frizzle’s younger sister, who will be taking the lead on future field trips. There’s still no better way for kids to dive as deep into scientific scenarios than with Miss Frizzle and her friends. Dorothy Ann is still researching, Ralphie is still causing trouble, and they even got rid of that kid who was always talking about her old school. Arnold, just be glad you didn’t stay home today.
