NME is reporting that Devon Clifford, drummer for the (unfortunately named, given the circumstances) Canadian dance-punk band You Say Party! We Say Die! has died following an on-stage collapse during the band’s Friday show at Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre. He was 30. Clifford reportedly suffered a brain hemorrhage mid-performance, after which singer Becky Ninkovic asked the crowd to call 911. He was then rushed into neurosurgery, after which he remained on life support until early this morning. The band was due to start an extensive European tour on April 26; so far there's no word from the other members besides a brief Twitter tribute.
