Yup, we redesigned a little bit
If you're a regular reader, you probably noticed a slight facelift to the site today, and kudos to you for your keen eyesight. It's nothing like the major overhaul we launched in January of this year, but there are a few changes worth noting.
— The local sites, which are now simply called "A.V. Club [Your City]" rather than "Decider" (yes, we ditched that name), are more integrated into the main page. You'll notice a box below Newswire, as well as a bunch of links at the bottom of the page. If you're not near one of the eight cities in which we publish local content, you'll get a smorgasbord of various stuff to choose from. There have been a lot of great pieces in the local editions lately, too, so give em a quick hello, won't you?
— Your voice (yes, yours!) has become even more important to us. Registered users can now grade the various media that we review, and a cumulative "reader rating" will show up just below the "a.v. club rating" in each review. We hope to make this feature a little better/deeper soon, too.
— If you live in one of our local cities, movie reviews will also now conveniently feature showtimes.
There's probably some other stuff, too, that I'm forgetting. As always, we're a work in progress, so please let us know what's not working for you in the comments below.
And hey, our book's out tomorrow! Buy that shiz!
