Yvonne De Carlo leaves behind a pretty long body of acting work that includes The Ten Commandments, but if you've been in The Munsters, that's bound to top your obituary. Still, that's not the first thing De Carlo got attention for. Her extensive filmography already included several popular B-movies, a role opposite Alec Guinness in The Captain's Paradise, and with Clark Gable and Sidney Poitier in Band Of Angels, and various Broadway and TV roles—all before that ghastly makeup, antique dress, and hair coloring came into play. De Carlo's son tells Reuters that she recently appeared in two indie films (titles not specified) that have yet to be released.
