Once you become a celebrity, you basically lose control of your face. Some people paint it. Other people tattoo it. Others, still, consume it every day as a means of getting that actor’s attention.
Another common occurrence is for the beautiful faces of celebrities to find their way onto book covers and marketing materials in other countries, where people like Thom Yorke sometimes find their faces splayed upon books about “male sexual problems.” Now, Yorke is not alone, as Scrubs’ star and occasional internet villain Zach Braff, whose image has also been called upon to cure what he calls “boner problems.”
At least the connection makes sense here, as he’s donning that Scrubs stethoscope. Another ad featuring the actor is a little less appropriate. Well, unless he co-starred in The Net.
It’s not just Braff, though. Scrubs must be its own institution overseas: Donald Faison and Neil Flynn have also found themselves stapled to lampposts around town.
