The recently confirmed, engineered-by-public-decree third Hangover film really will have a slightly different premise from its predecessors, if Zach Galifianakis can be believed. We’re not entirely sure that he can, but for what it’s worth, he recently told Rolling Stone that the next outing will find “The Wolfpack” helping his character escape from a mental institution, with no wedding or, presumably, night of forgotten regrets to speak of. Why this film would still bear the title The Hangover is not entirely clear, other than the obvious necessities of marketing—or maybe they all have a totally wacky night on Thorazine? Regardless, hopefully this edition will have a wink to Galafianakis’ character in It’s Kind Of A Funny Story, for the 10 people who saw that. [via Splitsider]
