Zoe Saldana chosen to carry that Rosemary's Baby miniseries

The Dark Lord Satan, with some help from NBC top brass, has chosen the human female vessel who will bring forth the Adversary's infant brood into this earthly realm: She is the one the trade papers call “Zoe Saldana.” The Star Trek and Guardians Of The Galaxy star will play the lead in the network’s four-hour TV miniseries adaptation of Ira Levin's psychological horror novel Rosemary's Baby that was formally announced last month. Though Saldana is stepping into a role made famous by Mia Farrow some 47 years ago in Roman Polanski's classic film, she has the full confidence of NBC’s executive vice president Quinn Taylor, who—speaking like a normal human being, who is in no way under the influence of more powerful forces—said Saldana "has proven that she is one of our most gifted actresses and we think she has the perfect combination of spirit and gravitas to take on the title role from Ira Levin’s infamous novel."
