Absolutely nothing is under control in new The Death Of Stalin trailer

Now that the American government has become indistinguishable from your average Veep episode, series creator Armando Iannucci has decided to take on amore light-hearted topic for his next film: Fearsome Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin. An initial trailer for Iannucci’s film that came out last August introduced the major players in this political drama—Nikita Khrushchev (Steve Buscemi), Georgy Malenkov (Jeffrey Tambor), Lavrentiy Beria (Simon Russel Beale), Comrade Andryev (Paddy Considine), Georgy Zhukov (Jason Isaacs), and Stalin’s children Vasily (Rupert Friend and Svetlana (Andrea Riseborough)—and now a new trailer for the film, released earlier today, gives us a better glimpse into the infighting among Stalin’s flunkies and their flailing attempts to hide the chaos that surrounded his death in 1953, as expressed by Iannucci’s signature razor-sharp verbal barbs.

The Death Of Stalin, which opened last October in the U.K, is set for an American release on March 9.
