Adam Savage suits up in this exclusive Armor Build trailer
Erstwhile Mythbuster Adam Savage usually wards off flights of ignorance with facts, but in this exclusive look at his new VRV series Armor Build, he dons a full suit of armor. Apparently, Savage is a huge fan of John Boorman’s 1981 film Excalibur, so much so that back in high school, he whipped up some platemail in his dad’s garage. He promptly fainted when he wore it to school, which is why Savage is getting some professional help in his second attempt—from none other Terry English, who designed and built all of the armor in Excalibur.
If you’d like to follow along with Savage on his quest, Armor Build debuts October 7 on VRV, with new episodes rolling out weekly thereafter.
