Björk announces new single, due out later this month

In August, Björk announced a new album that she later explained is a “Tinder album” in the sense that it’s about searching for love, and now she has announced the still-untitled album’s first single. Titled “The Gate,” the track’s pre-order page says it as “essentially a love song,” but Björk adds that she means love “in a more transcendent way” that is “even greater” than what someone might imagine. “The Gate” won’t be available digitally until September 18 or physically until September 22, but you can pre-order both and zoom in real close on the album art at this link.
